The Campaign to Make Wars History

"... no individual can experience true happiness or tranquillity until we turn humankind away from its obsession with war.  War has held us in ts irrevocable grip throughout history ... War normalises insanity, destroying human beings like so many insects, tearing all that is human and humane to shreds."  Daisaku Ikeda - Buddhist leader

Britain and America have fought five illegal wars since 1998 killing 1,000,000 innocent people including 300,000 children. Our leaders falsely claim that it is legal and the right thing to do. Since when has it been lawful or right to kill children ?

Members of the newly formed Campaign to Make War History have a can-do approach to the permanent ending of war - fast - simply by getting politicians and the military to obey the Laws of War, law-enforcement authorities to enforce them and citizens to exercise our right, indeed our duty to ensure these laws are upheld, like any other law.

In the 21st century, with 50 more years of war threatened and (?) countries now in possession of a nuclear capability, the time has come to implement international law governing war and genocide, and to hold political, civil and military leaders who breach it to account in court for their crimes.
